Can't Create Article with Same Name in Different Language
Can't Create Article with Same Name in Different Language

Atm, struggling to get an article with the same name as an identically named article in the same namespace, though using different languages.

I think the issue is the fact the namespace is a created one, and it has the same name atm (seems Reviews is generally translated Reviews for most German internet users).

Is there a way around this? It is likely that there will be other conflicts in this way.

This is not possible, as was discussed in the announcement about language support. In many cases, this would result in having multiple pages at the same URL. Even if you translate the namespace title, for sideways-compatibility, this is not permitted.

Of course. On a slightly different note... I've adjusted the translation of the name of the namespace, now I can't access the articles I've pushed into German. It redirects correctly to the new namespace, but hasn't moved the article, even though I rebuilt the threads.

      Any suggestions?

What was the old name and what is the new name? What do mean when you say it hasn't moved the article? Is the article not appearing in German?

      No, it's 'lost'

The old name was the default English "Reviews", the new name is "Besprechung". An example article is: http://www.thexuniverse.com/showwiki...ws:Pirat+Elite

You'll notice when you look in the forum view, it's linked to Reviews, but is redirected to Besprechung, where there is no article.
