htaccess Redirect Issue

htaccess Redirect Issue

I'm getting a redirect problem whenever I try going directly from forumdisplay (or even the main forum.php page) to a new comment. The url I get (as an example) is like this:

http://www.thexuniverse.com/threads/...ost#post180108

But it ends up taking me to the default CMS home page.

I've followed the htaccess setup, including using the tool to create the htaccess code, and I can only assume it's the htaccess that is the problem.

Is it a bug, or a setup error on my part?

I cannot duplicate this by clicking any link from forumdisplay. I can, however, duplicate it by manually entering a URL like:
http://www.vaultwiki.org/demo/Articl...e-Test?p=10551

This occurs when the article has no comments and the post ID corresponds to the ID of the wiki-post itself. In this case, the expected behavior is to 301 to the main article URL, but somehow we end up in a loop.

Fixed in the current ZIP. In vBulletin 4, sometimes the page URL is not yet available when the canonical check is performed. This results in the page redirecting to NULL, which results in the same URL redirecting to itself.

In vault/special_plugins.php, find:
