      Simplify Wiki Links

      Running VB 3.8.4pl2
      Wiki beta5
      Windows IIs server

When I enable "Simplify Wiki Links" the wiki link in the forums gives you a 404 error. If I disable the option everything works. It did the same with beta4 as well.

      This works (disabled):
      http://www.monstermayhem.org/forums/...+Monster+Truck

      This does not (enabled):
      http://www.monstermayhem.org/forums/...+Monster+Truck

Also the upgrade seemed to have renamed the Wiki I had setup to "Book" and I can not rename it back. In the ACP the original name is still there.

This could be an .htaccess issue. Could you please post the entire "RewriteRule" area in your forum's .htaccess file, whether the rules are from VaultWiki or not. If you have multiple files in your site's (like 1 file in the root and 1 in the forum directory) please post the requested parts from each relevant file.

As for the "Book" problem, what version of VaultWiki were you running before the upgrade that messed this up?

I was using 2.5.7 which was the last stable release prior to 3?

As noted above this is a Windows IIs server so no .htaccess

This issue note was made as an issue.
Ah, well you would not be able to use Simple Wiki Links unless you made the appropriate changes to your IIS configuration to handle the SEF URLs. I think some IIS configurations after version 6 can use .htaccess, but I'm not sure if there's anything comparable to Mod Rewrite otherwise.

This is a limitation of IIS and not a problem with VaultWiki per se.
