      Fatal error with autolink

I turned on autolink in 'options'. Result, when I post:

This is exactly the autolink error I have been trying to track down. I have seen it in logs but never been able to do it myself. I need to know EVERYTHING you did to generate this error. Editor modes, other BB-Codes used, heck the entire post text. This error should have also generated an E_NOTICE that I added so check your error logs for that. Thanks.

      It was this article
      http://www.onlineclarity.co.uk/frien...ng:Hexagram+11
      - you still have admin access. Maybe it's just the length of the post that causes problems?

Entered the post in its entirety via the 'edit' tab in WYSIWYG mode, added some headers, some italics, and one footnote. I can't remember whether I put in the 'reflist' tags at first or not. The article was as it now is, except of course I've added the links manually.

Error log? Um. I have access via cpanel to the last 300 errors, but by now they just reveal the site was down this morning. I could get you the raw log files if you especially want them...

As long as you know which article caused it, that's closer than I've ever been to it. I'll be looking into this today as soon as I start my day.

I still cannot duplicate this. Do you have any RSS feeds created by articles or anything like that? Can you get this to occur using Article Preview or only when submitting?

No RSS - Vb won't do RSS feeds from non-public forums.

When I next post a new article, I'll try turning on autolink again and using preview before posting, and see what it does.

      Turned autolinking back on.
Pasted in a new article with no formatting at all
      Clicked 'preview article'
      Code:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: () in /home/onlinecl/public_html/friends/vault/special_plugins_autolink.php on line 254
The error log in cpanel says just the same thing (and nothing else). Is there anywhere else I should be looking for more information.

      Turned autolinking off again.

Edit: afterthought - I did paste in from Word.

Okay, according to both your file system and your AdminCP, you have RC2 installed. I attempted to patch your install and it failed and caused errors, because you were running an earlier version than expected. RC3 has been out for over a week. Please update your installation and let me know if the autolink issue still occurs.

This occurred because the tag list was still in the non-standard wiki format when passed to the bbcode_parse_complete hook and its plugins. As a result, any plugins that accessed the tag list were broken. Used the same technique as with parser recursion to fix this problem.
