When a Wiki forum has a link, it is ignored when building forum bits so that article counts can be created, because the forum most likely contains them. However, this also applies for non-wiki forums in that it shows a count of 0, even though the forum will almost always not have threads. The default vBulletin value here is "-".
Fixed for the next build. In
vault/special_plugins_forumdisplay.php, find:
Code:
$forum['threadcount'] = vb_number_format($counters["$forum[forumid]"]['threadcount']);
if ($GLOBALS['foruminfo']['vault_type'] AND $forum['vault_type'])
{
$count = $counters[$forum['forumid']]['replycount'] - $counters[$forum['forumid']]['threadcount'];
}
else
{
$count = $counters[$forum['forumid']]['replycount'];
}
$forum['replycount'] = vb_number_format($count);
Replace with:
Code:
if ($forum['lastpostinfo'] != '-')
{
$forum['threadcount'] = vb_number_format($counters["$forum[forumid]"]['threadcount']);
if ($GLOBALS['foruminfo']['vault_type'] AND $forum['vault_type'])
{
$count = $counters[$forum['forumid']]['replycount'] - $counters[$forum['forumid']]['threadcount'];
}
else
{
$count = $counters[$forum['forumid']]['replycount'];
}
$forum['replycount'] = vb_number_format($count);
}
