Wiki Mass management: Allow making nice & engaging meta descriptions with ChatGPT
Many Xenforo add-ons nowadays have integrations to ChatGPT to help with managing e.g. tagging or anti-spam.
It requires an API key, but the usage is relatively cheap and makes really good texts.
It would be nice if we could get a new "Maintenance tool" to help write an engaging summary about the page (that will then be shown in og:description on social sites, as well as the LD+JSON (see my other suggestion
https://www.vaultwiki.org/issues/6407/). Some search engines also show this, although e.g. Google usually shows their own relevant text.
An example from ChatGPT:
Write a 200 character engaging summary about the character Homer Simpson
Response:
Homer Simpson, the doughnut-loving, "D'oh!"-exclaiming dad in "The Simpsons," embodies chaos and charm. His cluelessness and loveable antics turn the mundane into uproarious adventures, making him an animated icon.
It would probably be nice if the prompt/template could be defined and insert the page title with e.g. {title}, or have the option to pipe the page content to ChatGPT and have it write a summary from that.
Then it would show the ChatGPT response, allowing the user to make changes to it before saving.
It would be nice if there was a button "Save and go to next" which would load on another page with "bad description". These would probably be sorted by something like "last changed" or a new "not cleaned up with ChatGPT"-field
