I wonder if this new HEADING bbcode could be processed by VaultWiki to act as a substitute for VaultWiki's custom H bbcode only on wiki pages? I think that this could greatly simplify creating and editing wiki pages from having WYSIWYG headings in the editor that could still be included in a page's table of contents. Plus the usual wiki section head controls (e.g. share this section, show/hide).
If it isn't too onerous, I'd like to see "
Heading 1" render and function on wiki pages the same as [H=2], "
Heading 2" as [H=3] and "
Heading 3" as [H=4]. I can't speak for other admins, but at least with my site [H=1] is used infrequently. I also get that XF2.2's HEADING bbcode only offers 3 levels while [H] offers twice that many (1-6), but perhaps that's a necessary price to pay to make the wiki editing experience more accessible to a wider user base (not just power users). If more heading levels or 'hidden by default' are needed, [H] could still be used, it just wouldn't be WYSIWYG.
If it is possible, I think it is safe to say that (at least in XF2.2+) the above would fulfill part 3 of an
earlier feature request that I made in 2017 to make heading bbcode easier to use. Or maybe this idea can't be easily implemented. Hard to know when XF2.2 hasn't been released yet.
What does everyone else think?

Have you seen...? video showing the XF2.2 editor heading menu.
