Ghost edits displayed by deceased members

I thought that I already reported this but the search engine comes up with nothing.

VW keeps displaying edits of attachments done by members that are long gone and deceased in some cases. This is really not good for the community.

What do you mean by "keeps displaying edits"?

      See: https://www.vaultwiki.org/issues/5477/

It looks like if a wiki-attachment is modified outside of the standard wiki editor, it was incorrectly trying to generate a new upload for the attachment even though no upload was made. Aside from the date getting bumped, this appears to be relatively harmless. It should be fixed in the next release by double-checking that an upload was actually made before bumping the date.
Were they edited more recently than August 27-28? If the attachments were actually edited (not re/un-tagged) but the new user was not given credit, then this is a problem.

I should note also that you reported this for 4.0.23 above, and the fix for tags bumping the last edit date is in 4.0.24.

I mean that there are 'new' edits on most days. But the tagging makes sense. Tags are being removed from the database through a manual review. I have updated to 4.0.24 earlier today. So this should be fixed now. Thanks.

It would be nice if such edits would be attributed to 'System' or something.
