I don't see this being a bug in the importer, since:
- The edit history does not show that these attachments were included in the content before the import either using ATTACH or FILE.
- Since some of the attachments are cleanly named, this suggests that those attachments were already wiki-attachments prior to the import, and would have been included via FILE (but the edit history shows this was not done prior to the import).
- The importer does not typically import regular forum attachments that were attached to VW3 wiki pages using names that are clean like this, unless you were very careful about the filenames before you uploaded them in VW3.
- The importer converts regular forum attachments as wiki-attachments and automatically adds them to the end of the articles that they were attached to. Other wiki pages in your wiki show that this process took place overall. I do not see any indication in the edit history for the pages-named-similarly that this took place in those particular pages and was later overwritten by the importer.
- Wayback machine for some of the similarly-named-pages suggest that the attachments in question were not attached or otherwise included in the most recent versions.
Especially due to the wayback-machine results, it seems that these pages were just in need of having these attachments attached to them in the first place. Some of the wayback-machine results show that the pages once had attachments that were removed by the time they were imported. This loss might be due to the flaws in the forum attachment system that led us to discourage its use and drop support; or it might be because users actively removed the attachments, possibly switching to wiki-attachments but forgetting to insert the new wiki-attachment into the page. Since most of the attachments appear to have been initially uploaded by the same user "Docta", this last possibility is most likely.
In this case we might consider a feature for automatically including these in the similarly-named-pages. But the naming is really a coincidence because VaultWiki has never enforced anything like "an attachment must have the same name as the target page it will eventually be included in"; in fact, this would be contrary to VaultWiki's ideals of being able to reuse the same wiki-attachment in many pages that probably have different names. At one time, VaultWiki 3 enforced "a file for a wiki-attachment must have the same name as the attachment-page for itself", but that is not helpful in this case. Perhaps your board rules stipulated it; or the user who made these was thoughtful in their naming, perhaps to make it easier for themselves to go back and insert them (but never got around to it). But unfortunately, it doesn't seem like this is a feature that would benefit a lot of users.
This leaves you with using a custom script to edit all the similarly-named-pages, or doing it manually.
