      Subareas and Page Deletions

Hi, I'm using the Vaultwiki Lite available on vBulletin.org.

I noticed in your manual that there is a way to create subareas, but I cannot figure it out from the Area Manager. Can you please let me know how to do this, or is this feature not available in the Lite version?

I also found a seemingly easy to fix bug. I am trying to permanently delete a page. Vaultwiki will take me to a subpage where it allows me to choose a soft delete or a permanent delete (under a Delete tab). Howeer, when I select permanent delete and click submit, it takes me to the root page rather than path page with a 404.

Basically, it needs to take me to root/path/wiki_inlinemod.php?do=kill but its taking me to root/wiki_inlinemod.php?do=kill instead.

This is probably just a simple code addition, but I can't find the right template or page that points to this. Can you also help me with that?

      Thanks!

      Max Dirks

Sub-areas are not available in the Lite version.

For the path issue, I have not been successful reproducing this on a test Lite board with no other add-ons installed, unless AdminCP > Settings > Options > Site Name / URL / Contact Details > Forum URL is blank, or is read as blank from a damaged settings cache, or is not actually set to the forum path, or incorrectly contains a trailing slash. Please make sure that you have this setting filled in correctly on your site, and that you do not have any other add-ons that might be erasing it.

If your forum is not actually located at the "Forum URL", but rather the "Forum Component URL", then you will need the full version, which allows you to set a custom Wiki Base URL. Although, if this was the problem, I don't think you would be able to visit any wiki pages at all.

If you still cannot determine the cause of the issue, please provide access to a test board that is experiencing the issue via a private ticket here: https://www.vaultwiki.org/members/?do=tickets
