Link to Xenforo attachments cirumvent CDN

My wiki articles have many links to attachments which are now in xenforo. For example:
/attachments/27765/
and of course old vb urls which are 301 redirected:
/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=27763&stc=1&d=1345712602
/forum/picture.php?albumid=230&pictureid=21485

But my site is configured to serve attachments from CDN. Somehow vaultwiki does not respect this.

It is not clear to me what the bug you are reporting is.

If the URLs for images you've posted in the content body are incorrect, you should update them. Of course it is possible to circumvent your CDN if you use the direct link to the original non-CDN image.

The URLs are correct. The same IMG URLs in xenforo are served from CDN. But for some odd reason in VW the image files are served from my server.
I have no clue why this happens.
