      Problem with bbCode edits
      Admin edited a bbCode and the error process was stuck in a loop (I think)

      We are still trying to get our XenForo site up to speed for our moderator and admins from the vBulletin site. One of the Admins apparently attempted to edit the THREAD bbCode that does not exist on XenForo to bring the content into alignment.

      The attached screen shots show the result. ((oops! I cannot attach screen shots?))

      We also have ThemeHouse helping us with styling, so there may be some side conflicts there. I am trying to avoid reverting everything back to default values to sort this out. Can you help?

      I spoke with the admin who was trying to create the bbode. It turns out he was just really persistent. There was no problem with the error reporting.

      The screenshot appears to be located on a password-protected part of your site, so it will not work here as an image. Please send me a link to the post that contains the THREAD BB-Code, as well as a link to the screenshot.

      The screen shot was from the AdminCP of our XenForo site. My associate was trying to install the THREAD bbCode that we use on our current site. If you look at our admin log for Steven Thornberry there is a string of 12 bbCode entries from June 6th. The contents of each is the same.
      Code:
      array(22) {
        ["new_bb_code_id"] => string(6) "thread"
        ["title"] => string(11) "thread link"
        ["description"] => string(37) "Add thread links to appropriate text."
        ["bb_code_mode"] => string(7) "replace"
        ["has_option"] => string(2) "no"
        ["replace_html"] => string(31) "[thread{option}]{text}[/thread]"
        ["callback_class"] => string(0) ""
        ["callback_method"] => string(0) ""
        ["example"] => string(35) "[thread=123456]this thread[/thread]"
        ["addon_id"] => string(0) ""
        ["active"] => string(1) "1"
        ["option_regex"] => string(0) ""
        ["trim_lines_after"] => string(1) "0"
        ["editor_icon_url"] => string(0) ""
        ["sprite_params"] => array(2) {
          ["x"] => string(1) "0"
          ["y"] => string(1) "0"
        }
        ["replace_html_email"] => string(0) ""
        ["replace_text"] => string(0) ""
        ["vw_varname"] => string(0) ""
        ["vw_options"] => array(3) {
          ["nonwiki_editor"] => string(1) "1"
          ["nonwiki_faq"] => string(1) "1"
          ["nonwiki_parse"] => string(1) "1"
        }
        ["_xfRequestUri"] => string(23) "/admin.php?bb-codes/add"
        ["_xfNoRedirect"] => string(1) "1"
        ["_xfResponseType"] => string(4) "json"
      }

      This is a link to a thread on our XenForo site that uses the THREAD bbCode. https://xf.nawcc.org/index.php?threa...threads.39048/

      It is still not clear to me what you are trying to report here. A screenshot is usually an image of some sort, but in the first post you only provided a link to your AdminCP between IMG tags. All I know is that something happened when the user tried to edit a custom BB-Code called THREAD, but you have not explained what happened.

      After trying to do this in your test site, I suspect that this is a Duplicate of: https://www.vaultwiki.org/issues/4989/
      A fix is included in 4.0.18. I have applied the related code change to your site.
