Marking this as Implemented in 4.1.x on XenForo (vB does not have a responsive style).
In 4.1.x:
Below medium widths:
- The minimum height of 100px is not enforced. Saves 20-80px on short pages.
- The contributor info block is collapsed (a "Show Contributors" link appears allowing it to be expanded). Saves at least 20px on new pages with at least 1 contributor (pages with more contributors save more).
- In XF1, the size of the article icon is reduced. This saves about 20 pixels (XF2's default style hides page-title icons on narrow widths).
== In total, at least 60px are reduced vertically on medium widths.
In narrow widths, if placeholder text was used, the placeholder text is hidden. This saves around 100px on very narrow widths.
== In total, at least 160px are reduced vertically on narrow widths.
