      BBCodes Do not parse
When Addon is active no bbcodes are parsed.

I spent the past two hours going through all my add-ons and came to the conclusion it is VaultWiki. When VaultWiki is active no bbcodes are parsed. This is only happening to newly posted discussions, posts, wiki pages, etc. since I updated from 4.0.6 to 4.0.12. All old exsisting posts are untouched and still display all bbcodes correctly. Now what is getting me is that there is no errors, or at least that I can find of. I tried debug mode too and in other areas. Any clue what is going on?

      Thanks in advanced

Since it occurs outside the wiki, and it includes BB-Codes that were not provided by VaultWiki, this might be a conflict between VaultWiki and another add-on. Diagnosing the problem will require a closer look at your installation, or a test installation where you are able to reproduce the problem. In both of the example posts above, the BB-Code was malformed. See:
      Code:
Get your Winter gear ready, DwD has updated to 1.10: The Frostburn Update

      [h="2"Dimensions[/h]
          [LIST][*]Spawn
As you can see, there is a missing ] for the H tag of the "Dimensions" heading. Because of a VaultWiki feature that allows you to parse some BB-Codes that occur inside tag options (think VAR and IF), this results in the entire post being considered as part of the tag-option (there is no lingering ] that is not part of another tag that would specify the end of the option). Once that happens, there is no text left in the post to consider, so the entirety of the BB-Code was considered invalid.

      I noticed some problems here:
      • The tag-option is too greedy. If there is a random [ that is not actually before a reasonable tag name, it will think a new tag started anyway.
      • The tag-option is too greedy. If the option is wrapped in quotes, but there is a lingering [ that is really before a reasonable tag name, it will keep going past the closing quote mark anyway.
      • If we reached the end of the post and no closing ] was found for the tag, rather than the opening [ being considered invalid, the whole post body is invalid.

Especially after fixing that last point, I see that both the post and the wiki page now parse in the way I would expect. Marking this as Fixed in the next release.

You might have to clean up your wiki and/or post caches to push the changes out to cached posts.

Wow, something as simple as that messes up a whole post still baffles me to this day. I have things like this happen to me all the time with my Java Programs. Thank you for the fix and giving me some more knowledge of the BB-Codes.

Hopefully this wasn't a complete waste of time and possibly help you with future version with the BB-Code Tags.

Thank you again, I will be sure to triple check my BB-codes before submitting them anywhere.

      PS
I usually write my post with BB-Codes in a notepad then post them, for the most part I memorized all of them on my forums.
