Option "open links in new tab"

I a not sure if this is a bug according to this post https://www.vaultwiki.org/threads/5065/
It may be possible that you implemented it this way? If you add a URL you get a new tab at your browser and if it is internal you will be directed at the same window.
If i enable this option at the setting. It is working as decribed here, url will open in new window and all wiki tags will open at the same.

If i edit a page now and save it again, all wiki links are also opened in a new tab, which may not be your intention here.

The setting in Home > Options > VaultWiki: Wiki Links regarding opening in a new window only applies to auto-links. If you use an actual WIKI BB-Code tag, you must use |BLANK

Please clarify your report with respect to this information. If a BB-Code is not working as expected, some example code will be helpful.
