Xenforo: An exception occurred: Undefined index: id in /usr/share/nginx/html/library/vw/XenForo/Search/DataHandler/Base.php on line 105

Sorry if this is the completely wrong place to post this, but I'm completely clueless on how to resolve this by myself. I'm getting this error on step 7 of the installer:

This is an E_NOTICE level error, which is really only intended for developers to see. It should not halt execution unless you have XenForo's debug mode turned on. Try disabling debug mode in your XenForo config.php file.

Ahh, my bad - I forgot debug mode was enabled. Thanks for your help.

This morning I downloaded the ZIP again and tried the installer on my XenForo test board with debug mode enabled. I was not able to reproduce this issue. It is possible this was related to some files being missing, like your report on the vw_Help_View error.

If you did not already do this when you fixed vw_Help_View, I would recommend re-downloading the ZIP to be on the safe side. Since it is generated by a script, sometimes it is possible that the ZIP does not include all the files or that some files are from the wrong version, usually if a user is downloading it at the same second when we are making an update to the package. You should not have to run the upgrade script or reinstall. If you have not noticed any problems then it may be safe to leave it as is until the next hot patch.
