When using wiki pages in feeds to replace news articles in another CMS, there needs to be a way to satisfy Google's weird "three-digit number" rule, which states that news URLs must each contain a unique 3 (or more) digit number, and that the first 3 digits in a 4 digit number cannot be "199" or "200" (which means that if article IDs are used, numbers 1990 - 2009 must be skipped when they are reached).
Thus, I think it is necessary to create a separate wiki-type "News" that automatically includes these numbers in the URL and that keeps track of the unique news IDs so that Google's guidelines are met.
