Even if this error is bypassed by having Debug Mode disabled, this error is a hint that the $block property is accessed on the wrong object (and not being found), which means the block we are trying to delete doesn't get deleted.
This is fixed in the next release. In the mean time, you should still be able to disable blocks you don't want by using their "Active?" settings.
