New Articles Linked to Existing Forum Threads
New Articles become linked to already existing forum threads

I've got the namespaces working after the install... and like the layout and approach.

      However...

I've noticed that when I create a new article (done this in two namespaces to check) it links to an already existing forum thread.

When I look at the article from the Wiki forum display, I end up seeing links to several pages if the original threads are long enough.

Not sure what's causing the error.

I'm away for a few days, when I get back I'll check on it immediately.

I'll be working on this while I'm out of net access for a few days next week, but in rereading the comments, I must comment that the threads involved are part of the system, and are active threads. I can still find them in my main sites database, in fact, that was the only way for me to be able to suss out the number of the threads.

You mentioned that it is not possible to give me direct access because of the way your network is set up. Is your database small enough that you can send me a database backup? I can set up an FTP location for you to make this easier. This way I can duplicate this on a test board using exactly your configuration.

My database compressed is over 40MB. It also has the vbPortal install, which is purchased software... so whether that would make it difficult for you to set it up, I'm not sure.

I can zip it and send it via email, or FTP, whichever you want.

I'll try installing with the latest packages, and let you know how I get on.

Well, it seems this was a database corruption. For some reason the databases when restored from my online server to my office one were overwriting, and not replacing.

Restarting a new database solved this problem, and all is working fine with 2.2.0 and 2.2.1
