      Page Rank Leaks

Throughout VaultWiki 4, there are many links that let search engines crawl wherever they want, rather than guiding them through and keeping them in the wiki. This can lead to an implied lower importance of certain wiki pages.

Further, this seems to be a regression from VaultWiki 3, which in fact did not let crawlers on Special pages, history pages, and other low quality pages.

Marked as fixed in the next release. At the current time, I cannot think of any other places where rel or robots tags are used improperly or not at all, where they would appear on followable pages. If there are fringe cases where backlinks might exist to a noindex, follow page that happens to contain links that were deemed otherwise unreachable, then these should be handled on a case-by-case basis moving forward.
