Blogs 2.0 and CES Vault Wiki

After I installed the vBulletin updated blogs to 2.0, I tried to enter a new post. When I did that I got a message telling me:

"This forum is not accepting new posts."

After trying various things to try to fix this, I thought maybe that an add-on was conflicting with the Blogs. When I turned off the Wiki, then the Blogs started working. For some reason, the Blogs won't let you post to them if the Wiki is on.

Any suggestions how to fix this?

Well it seems I may have spoken to early. Even now when I enable the wiki and try to post to the blogs, I get the same error. Not sure what is happening. But if I go to enter a new blog entry when I hit the menu button it comes up with a message that says the forum is closed to new posts.

BTW, if I turn the wiki off the blogs work properly.

Not sure what you mean now. Is the behavior exactly the same as before? If this is the case, perhaps someone restored a database backup or reinstalled VaultWiki? Other users who have implemented this fix have working blogs, as I have just posted to their sites.

OK, this may be the problem. I did a restore on a couple of data bases when I did an upgrade on another add-on. I will check this out and get back to you.

I am planning to install vB Blog along with Vault Wiki. Is the requirement to edit the hook still there, or did this get taken care of in one of the updates?

If the fix is not in 2.2.0 is it in 2.2.1?

Is 2.2.1 about ready to go stable?
