Installation stalls at step

Install stops at step 19

Have tried to install, and received the following database error after installing templets:

Your MySQL server's configuration value for max_allowed_packet may be set too low. By default most servers have this set to 1M, but vBulletin's tech support suggests between 64M and 128M. I have a feeling yours may be even lower than that (possibly 512K).

You need a bigger max packet size in order to do things in vBulletin like rebuild styles or languages.

If you don't know how to increase this value or where the config file is, you can try this article: http://ozview-web.blogspot.com/2009/...cket-size.html

If you don't have access to MySQL's config files, or don't have shell access, you might have to ask your host or server admin to handle this for you.

Thank you for the very quick response, you were correct it was set at 512k, upped to 128M no issues installed perfectly.
