      Trying to attach an image
      Upload shows incorrect path

So I am trying to upload an image in the wiki attachments and noticed that not only does it not upload it shows a fake address. "C:/fakepath/" then whatever file I am trying to upload. Why is there not an easy way to get pictures in the wiki pages?

I might be onto something here. I got a new result. While trying to upload a file from C: drive (windows boot) while in OSX I noticed this time that while the same error persisted I noticed in the bottom corner where it would normally tell you a page is loading it showed "Uploading xx%" and counted up to 100% but after it reached 100% nothing happened. Is there a way to check for the images in the database?

The "C:/fakepath/" part is not a problem and it's not what's preventing the file from uploading. It is simply the way IE 8+ and some other browsers like Safari show the name of file you have selected. It's a security implementation to hide the path on your local machine from web sites to make it more difficult for them to access other files on your machine without your consent. But it has no effect on whether the file actually gets uploaded or not.

You can check that the images exist in the database by viewing the vw_attachmentfile table.

As I mentioned above, if you fill out the information in the form in the Members area, I should be able to resolve this much more quickly.

Closing this issue as the initial bugs which prevented user uploads have been fixed.
