Yes, we are having problems today with emails and some other things. As for the home page error, that has been addressed, although I'm surprised you encountered it on those pages (that code isn't usually set to execute on our shopping pages, which is why there was a problem there).
Sorry for the inconvenience - but there's a reason for it. We try to test any new code on the live site so that anything that wasn't caught by developers will be noticed and reported by the community - all before actually releasing that code to paying customers. This is one way of ensuring that the product that's released and installed on client sites won't have the same problems.
Regarding the blank emails, we only found out recently that our host changed the port for sending emails without informing us. Can you please open a separate thread about this, and provide as many details as you can about the emails you received - any other header or body information could be extremely helpful in making sure we've corrected the problem on our end.
