Fatal Error on Vault cache.php

I get this error when accessing the last page (page7) of a regular forum thread:

Fatal error: Call to a member function query_first() on a non-object in /my/site/public_html/vault/functions/cache.php on line 80

Nothing currently seems to fix it...

Perhaps the postbit property hasn't yet been set when this executes. In vault/functions/cache.php, find:

postobj->postbit->registry

Replace with:
