I think that after I made the update yesterday something changed in how Table of Contents are handled, because now they are stuck at 100% and clash with things like our infoboxes, as seen here: http://www.runicgamesfansite.com/sho...Torchlight+FAQ . It looks pretty bad this way, so I am hoping it can be fixed.
While I am on the topic of width clashes, I Headers also have trouble with these infoboxes. If you don't force them to have special backgrounds the lines of the header will show through underneath. An example is here: http://www.runicgamesfansite.com/sho...title=Skeleton . I suspect it is the same problem as above.
I also can't find an example of this now, since we've cleaned up our wiki a lot, but I'm pretty sure larger images also have overlapping problems. In the past I seem to remember header lines appearing over images.
2. There's nothing that can be done about this. That's the way CSS works. If you don't set a background, it will be transparent, and you can see whatever's behind it. Margins on floats won't resize a neighboring block-level element; it will only push the contents of that element, so the border will still be back there.
