That forum is a regular forum. It must be a wiki or island type forum in order to contain wiki pages. In order to change, you'll need to correct the error mentioned in the first post. That's a duplicate of one that was posted earlier this month (not your fault, some titles just aren't very good: http://www.vaultwiki.org/issues/1708/), but it can be fixed by editing vault/admin/forum.php. Find (I think):
Fixed that error, it would not let me make the group forum a wiki unless I create a namespace so I made it an Island and it still doesn't show as a choice under Vault General Settings in the nav, Select the wiki forum that will be the default location for new Group Start Pages... NONE. Although its there in the forum and now looks like a wiki (its an island)
Maybe it can only be selected as the "default location" if its in Wiki-mode. In vault/admin/options.php, find:
Code:
if (!$forum['cancontainthreads'] OR !$forum['allowposting'] OR $forum['vault_type'] != 1)
Replace with:
Code:
if (!$forum['cancontainthreads'] OR !$forum['allowposting'] OR !$forum['vault_type'])
You also may want to change forum permissions so only users with the group mask can post to it. If you're hiding the forum, a member would only find it if you post a link somewhere else. You may want to post a notice for members of the group mask letting them know where to go. To improve the system, I agree, there should be a Post New Group Page link from the group itself.
