      Can't post in my Wiki

      Hi all,

I'm a new user for both VBulletin and VaultWiki.
I just bought and installed VaultWiki on my board, but I have a question about name spaces...

In the documentation, it says to create at least the namespace DEFAULT, which I did.
Before doing that, I did create within VB a FORUM CATEGORY called "WIKI".
In the default namespace, under "TOP LEVEL FORUM", I can see ALL the other forum categories that I created for my regular forums, BUT the one I called WIKI.

Is there a reason for that ?

I see that it's top level forum is "----Default"

But then if I go in the forum manager, I can see the forum called DEFAULT being under the WIKI category.

Did I screw up things ?

The second issue I have is that when I create a post, it asks me for a title.... the for the post itself..
No matter how many lines I enter, I get the same error message when I validate:

The following errors occurred with your submission

      * The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 5 characters.

Anyone can advise me on one of those 2 issues ?

      Thanks !

      Hi Pegasus,

I fixed the issue with "The message you entered is too short".
After reading your explanation again, I saw that in each user group management (VBulletin admin panel), there is a new section for the Wiki. Since I switched everything to YES for the Admins, I can now post threads. Once I'll have a couple of them, I will allow the rest of the users.

My last question is: When I post a new article, it looks like a regular VBulletin forum. I did not really expect that, and wanted it to look more like a real wiki (kind of what you have here). What needs to be done for that ? I read the doc, but it's freaking confusing.. Maybe someone should re-work on it. I can imagine there had been a lot of work on it, but hey...

      Thank you for your help..

This issue note was made as an issue.
      Hi !

I read that, but I still don't get it..
Am I supposed to create a HTML page manually ?

      You need to:
      1) Create a wiki page to be used as the default page.
      2) Put its URL into the Forum Link setting in the Forum Manager.

      Pegasus,

I'm sorry.. but when you say "create a wiki page", do you mean I should create a HTML page manually ?

      Thank you

No I mean that you go to one of the wiki forums and create a thread.

Is there an example somewhere in the doc ?
Because now that I did put an URL, the wiki does not work anymore, of course.

Am I the only one who is that retarded ?
