Issue: Custom area summaries?

In VaultWiki 4.1, I notice that an area summary is added to the main area tree (and sub area tree), either beneath the title or in a tooltip depending on the XF style property nodeListDescriptionDisplay. This summary is a snippet of the area main page.

Is there a way to define a custom area summary that is different to an area's page contents? Such as in the admin cp area manager (the same as XF forum node descriptions) or via [var] (the same as meta descriptions). The default area summary is IMO a bit long on my test site, with the main area tree descriptions spanning 7 lines.

If this isn't currently possible, my suggestion would be to leave it as-is right now. To shorten area summaries, I could edit the vw_area_bit template and apply the XF2 template function snippet() to the $area.summary variable. IMO it is more important to keep the focus on polishing VW4.1 towards RC and Stable.
