      That error message showed up when I went to the wiki site:config admin page to turn off the wiki till another issue is resolved.

      Thanks. Looks like this is new in PHP 7.4. There are over 50 instances of curly braces used in the deprecated way in the current version. You may wish to use PHP 7.3 until we release the next version which will be fixed for PHP 7.4. Or, if you are not running the forum in debug/development mode, you may simply ignore these errors in your logs, as they should only appear when performing certain actions or under rare configurations.

      When is the next release going to be available? I need to know if I need to downgrade to PHP 7.3 or if the next release is coming soon? I can't keep my wiki disabled for much longer.

      If you had to disable your wiki due to 7.4 incompatibility, I recommend downgrading to 7.3. The next release is not imminent.
