[4.1 Alpha 3] Comments: Too much padding between comments for XF2.0 (unnecessary per-comment block elements)

On wiki comment pages, there is a lot of whitespace between individual messages and it does not match standard XF post styling. Inspecting the markup, I see that each comment is contained within its own block.

      The structure for each comment:
      -- block <div>
      ---- block-container <div>
      ------ block-body <div>
      -------- message <article>
      ---------- message-inner <div>

When I think this could just be simplified to:
      -- message <article>
      ---- message-inner <div>

Standard XenForo posts on the same page of a threads are all contained within a common block-body element. Is there a reason why VaultWiki couldn't also do this?

Confirmed. The public:vw_commentbit_vertical template is like the public:post template, when it is used in a context that should be consistent with public:thread_view. This probably arose due to confusion on our end -- one might expect public:post to be used on the thread-view, but it actually is not.

Fixed in the next release. This bug also resulted in the moderation controls appearing twice whenever a comment was selected for moderation.
