Does the image still appear on the edit tab for the affected entries? The icons don't seem to appear next to the titles, as expected. So I wonder if the data was lost during the upgrade.

They are still there. Added two images.

In src/addons/vw/vw/_core/view/global/xf2.php, find:

For the double drop-downs in the editor, this will occur if you are still using the Alpha 2 version of public:vw_editor_icon. If you are already running Alpha 3, you may need to revert or rebuild the template.
