Create wiki page via red link - add to current area by default

When navigating through a wiki and someone clicks a red link to a non-existent wiki page, is there any scope for the current area to be stored somehow... perhaps passed via $_GET? I'd like to see some added functionally that defaults new wiki pages created via red links to the last viewed area instead of System.

Let's say. for instance, someone is viewing the wiki page "Apples" which belongs to the "Fruit" area. While viewing the Apples page they find red link to Granny Smith Apples. Right now if they clicked that red link and proceeded to create the page (via the create tab, next to "main" tab) the page would be saved to the System area. What can be done so that this new wiki page would save to the "Fruit" area (as a default option) without the author having to manually choose it?

I understand that red links may not always be for pages that should belong in the same Area as the referred page. But I think this behaviour would more likely be true than someone intending for the page to be added to the System area.

Thanks for considering . And nice work with the 4.1 changes thus far!

This is implemented in Alpha 3. When viewing Apple in the area Fruit, clicking a red link to Banana followed by the Create tab there will automatically select the area Fruit by default, assuming that Fruit allows the expected type of Banana. If the expected type is not allowed by Fruit or the user does not have create permissions in Fruit at all, the previous behavior will be used. Either way, the user can still change the area selection the same as before.
