      Error Deleting a synonym

The user did not have permissions to delete a synonym.

The following information was presented to the user. This should instead be doing some error catching and presenting a different message to the user?

The database error is fixed in the next release. It occurs when soft-deleting or un-approving a publicly visible synonym. Awaiting your updated ticket to check whether permissions were violated here.

After checking permissions, I have determined that the user who performed this action did have the necessary permissions to do so. The user is in the "Administrative" group, which has all permissions. So no further action is necessary beyond fixing the database error.

Sorry I should have been more clear.

I expected the user not to be able to delete it (or at least realised that was the case afterwards), but thought that an error like that should not have been coming to the user instead of a "you don't have permissions" type message.

Thank you again for looking into it.

If you mean what I think you do, I believe that members of the Administrative group might have permissions to see full error messages. I believe XenForo displays a more generic message to non-admins.
