Issue: Privacy Acceptance keeps coming

I cannot reproduce this problem on my account. Are you sure it is the Privacy Policy notice? The Privacy Policy notice, Terms notice, and Cookie Policy notice use the same style. It would make sense for the Cookie Policy notice to reappear if your browser cookies are cleared or if they expire, since that notice creates a special cookie when consent is given.

Our GDPR logs show that you did accept the Privacy Policy.

I have accepted the privacy policy several times, but its not always there.
What is always there is the cookie notice. No matter how often I accept it. I have stopped accepting it as its pointless.
I do not clear my cookies for VW as VW is whitelisted.

After browsing incognito for a while, I was able to reproduce the cookie notice issue on specific pages on our site, where accepting while viewing that page would have no effect (but if it was previously accepted on a working page, then the cookie notice would not be visible on the non-working page). There appear to be significantly more pages that work than don't, but the forums index was one of the non-working pages, and it is a common landing page.

This issue is now fixed on our site.
However, I still have not had an issue with the Privacy Policy notice. In fixing the cookie notice, the CDN is forced to re-pull the script that generates the notices. It is possible that there was a caching issue with the CDN and this was causing an issue with the notices. Having the CDN re-pull the scripts should fix the Privacy notice if that was what was causing it.

I still have to accept cookies every time I access VW.org
I use FF60 with ublock and privacy badger.

Increased the "expires" parameter for the cookie policy cookie to 1 year. Marking this as fixed.
