Site down after trying to turn off VW

Im not sure if its a coincidence, but I tried to deactivate VW to deal with the other errors and the result was a white page for my whole site:

Now displays:

The wiki currently appears as disabled because a deferred task has failed. Please check your Server Error Logs to determine the source of the problem. If you cannot find an issue in the logs, retry the failed task.

Feel free to retry the failed task, as it probably failed because your xf_data_registry table had crashed.

Since in another post you confirmed that your site's load dropped dramatically after disabling a different add-on, and I had suspected that other add-on was causing database bottlenecks, I am closing this issue for now as I believe the database crash was caused by that other add-on. We will revisit this issue if the problem recurs while that add-on is disabled or after it is properly fixed.
