Same FA icon is used for views and toggle content

The FA eye icon is used to depict different things in VW. This is confusing.
FA eye is used to toggle content (hide/show)
FA eye is used to display user views.

This should not be. There should be a way to make sure all icons are unique and match the rest of the site.
BTW: I think this icon should not be used for either.

At this point, changing either icon would cause greater confusion, as they have been in place for several years, and other users know them. I would recommend customizing the CSS if you have a different icon in mind.

To be frank, we struggled with this when the "views" icon was implemented. We could not find a better icon in the FA set, nor could we change the existing hide/show icon to something like +/-, because that FA eye already been in place for that for 3 years and the +/- was already in use as well (elsewhere for add/remove controls). I wish you luck in finding a solution that works for you.

The default use for hide/show toggle is either:
      + and -
      OR
      V and /\

Are all +/- font-awesome icons in use? There are various.

For user views IMHO its best not to use an icon but text. Else it will not be clear to users at all.
I appreciate that the current solution has been in use for a significant amount of time, but that does not mean that users grasp its meaning. Generally if users do not understand a page or function they will simply ignore it. Thereby adding to the confusion and complexity users experience with VW.
We have to take into account that the average user is able to cope with facebook and snapchat interfaces at most.
