I cannot reproduce this issue for any content on the XF demo, including content created within the past few days. Are there any terms that do work as expected? Have you ruled out the possibility that the forum results were just more relevant to the search query used?
Please check your Elastic Search logs for error messages. It is possible that it has index failures or that its cache is damaged. If there are no errors, please try re-indexing the wiki in AdminCP > Tools > Tools > Rebuild Caches > Rebuild Search Index.
I have tried this on your test site from the ticket, using a term that seemed unique "loompanics" that appeared in the linked wiki page, and I received expected results. I am not sure if you had already rebuilt the search index.

I think we have different expectations about the search results. If I search any XF addon from the addon page, then I will exclusively get results from that addon. If I do the same from a wiki page then I will get wiki AND forum results.
Maybe there should be a tickbox to only search wiki. (like any XF addon has and which is automatically ticked)
Yes, that is definitely a feature that should be added. But I'm not sure what that has to do with this report as described in the OP, which is that you were receiving forum results ONLY (that is, no wiki results at all for matching terms).
Weirdly enough I am now encountering the same issue again: if you go to my site to the main forum index and search from there. Use the search term 'faq' or 'the rules' then this will not yield any wiki results. Yet, these are the most important results.
