I think the ideal solution here would be to actually add an Edit tab to Special pages, where the only setting is to change the title. Since each Special page should only have 1 title for routing reasons, it would make sense for the title to be the same, just like regular pages. It would be problematic to use a phrase for this because the phrase can be translated into multiple forum languages at once, and only 1 might point to a valid special page. Instead, if we add a Synonyms tab to Special pages, then we can "translate" its name in that way.

Thus the solution will be a relatively significant change:
      • Add a permission for editing Special pages
      • Add an edit UI for Special pages, where the title can be changed
      • Add a Synonym tab to Special pages

This is fixed in the next release.

In 4.0.16, there is a new permission under Special Page Permissions "Can edit and rename Special pages?"
This permission provides the Edit tab, which lets you change the following:
      - Prefix
      - Title
      - Icon
The permission also provides the Synonyms tab.

The Prefix and Title here might only change the Special page's URL. If there was a phrase for the title, that phrase is still used as the heading when you visit the page.

This permission is found when editing the main wiki permissions for a Usergroup (not customized in an area). The "Special Page Permissions" heading only appears in such a case. On my site, it is the very last question before the Save button.

I cleared the cache for our download area again. Please download the ZIP again and run the upgrade script.

For some reason it had stopped serving 4.0.16 since I last checked and started putting 4.0.15 in the ZIP. It looks like it is correct again.

The update went through about 50 steps, correct?

It is interesting, because none of the XenForo sites I have have this problem. I will try to see what happened to your site's Special page data.

I've recovered your Special pages using the info provided in your import request. They had been given the wrong prefix by the upgrade script.
