Issue: Can't delete feed

The "start page" is reading the feed from a cache. It should expire fast, I think (about 15 minutes). Still, deleting a feed should remove the feed cache too. I'm not sure if this is overlooked or not working correctly. Will report back.

I already have a feed in "my feed" which is not deletable, maybe the same issue?

Since you claim you did in the OP, how did you go about deleting the feed originally? Everything I have seen while investigating this is that the option to delete is not even available to try, which would be the bug as far as I can tell.

While I suggested earlier that the cache might have something to do with it, I was mostly incorrect. The feed itself is not loaded from a cache, only the elements inside the feed. I was correct only in that successfully deleting a feed orphans the cache data. It would remain in the database meaninglessly.

I disabled feeds as content types - then the error gone away ;-)

I fixed the damaged feed, and tried deleting it again using Options > Delete This Page, which I believe is what you did. This deleted the feed without error and it doesn't show on the start page any more. So I'm not sure why you were having trouble before, based on the given information.

Still, I'm leaving this issue open because the inline moderation controls for feeds don't appear on the area view.

Fixed in the next release. The inline moderation controls should now appear on an area's list of feeds.
