Upgrade issue ... query error and blank upgrader page

Hello,

I just started to upgrade to 4RC1 (that means that I have just uploaded the new files on the server) but now:
- my forum is not any more usable because of a Database error

Code:

Database error in vBulletin 4.2.2: Invalid SQL: SELECT itemid,itemtypeid,itemkey,url,stackids,keylength,maxword,titlekey FROM `vw_route` WHERE parentprefixid = 0; MySQL Error : Unknown column 'keylength' in 'field list' Error Number : 1054

- cannot proceed with upgrader because blank page

Please help!!!!

How to disable vaultwiki, the time of the correction so that my forum can still been used?

Upgrade is already completed, although you will still have to remove the /vault/core/controller/install folder.

For the database error in the front-end during upgrades, there's not much we can do about older versions. In Gamma 1 we added some code that would prevent this from happening in versions after that, but since you started from Beta 5, you did not have access to that code until the entire upgrade process through RC 1 was completed.

Within the upgrade process itself, it seems it wasn't so resilient either when the wiki wasn't upgraded for a lot of versions. I am still trying to find all the spots to avoid this kind of issue for the future.

Marked as Fixed in the next release. This only applies to the upgrader crashing when there are too many database changes between the origin and target versions. There is little we can do about the database errors in the front-end. Those go away if the origin version was already > Gamma 1.
