      Domain not updating

I changed my domain via the Base URL setting a while ago. I tried changing it to a different domain, but if I access the wiki, it redirects me back to the previous domain I had it to. It doesn't update it.
I did deactivate the second domain but no luck.

Please submit a Ticket Support service. It sounds like the deferred builder is frozen on your site.

Also, not sure if this contributes to it, hence why I'm posting here and not a new issue, but it wont allow me to activate the wiki.

      Still not fixed.
I changed the URL format to '/wiki/path/to/Prefix:Article'
and it changed the domain back to the second domain - meaning it's ignoring what it has in the Wiki Base URL input.

Please PM me the details of the second domain you want to use:
      - the domain name
      - the folder it's parked in

It looks like once the domain changes, the builder wants to run from that domain. If the AJAX script isn't present there it will fail, and if crossdomain.xml isn't configured, the browser simply won't let it happen unless you visit that domain (which becomes a catch 22, because you can't visit it in a normal way until the builder runs).

The thing is, for testing purposes, I want to be able have the freedom of changing the base URL back and forth. I don't want it to be settled in one domain to where I can't change it.
Should I still PM you the details?

I need to be able to set it to a domain that has already been set up so I can see where it goes wrong and so that I can see if it updates the URLs correctly. I think I just need to update the Javascript so that the builder runs on the current domain, rather than the wiki domain.

Seems to be forwarding okay now that the Javascript is running in the right place. Marking as Fixed. If you still have issues with the domain, let me know.

I thought it wouldn't turn on/off the wiki, nevermind about that.
It still doesn't update to the correct wiki domain inputted, though.

If it helps, this worked fine back in Gamma 7.

It turns the wiki off as a safety feature, so that users don't accidentally create a page that already exists while the wiki is rebuilding. During a rebuild some pages will show as not existing when they actually do. It automatically turns back on after the rebuild finishes.

The domain IS technically updating for every page (the values are changing in the database, and visiting most pages shows that it has changed). But I think there is a problem when it comes to the wiki index. The index is stored in a cache since it is accessed frequently, and I think this cache isn't getting cleared when the domain changes. The cached version of the index still has the old domain.

I will look into this issue with the index cache, but you can work around it until I find a solution:
      1. At the same time you change the domain, also disable the fancy URL format.
      2. After it saves, change the URL format back to the one you wanted.

EDIT: Solved. The index URL now updates instantly.

      Still not fixed for me.
The domain changes for the nav tab correctly.
But when I change it back to a fancy URL format, it makes the links back to the second domain.

EDIT: Never mind. Seems to be just a cache issue.
