showthreads renders nothing

Using the showthreads bbcode has no apparent effect.

Fresh installation of v4.0.0 Gamma 4.
PHP 5.3.27
vBulletin 4.2.2

Although "[showthreads]" has "Parse BB-Code in Wiki pages?" set to "Yes" in "Syntax Manager", use of it on a wiki page seems to have no effect, even assuring that the forum id within the tag exists and is generally accessible.

Am I missing something, or is this a bug?

It's okay if you submit duplicates. In some ways it shows us which issues are important to the community more than a comment or an upvote on an existing issue might. But it's confusing for the changelog if the same thing is marked fixed twice, so we have to mark the extras as duplicates.
