Issue: error message when forum is turned off

Do you know what places they have to hit? There are a few times that vw_wiki_disabled_error is supposed to occur, like if Wiki Active = No, or if the product is disabled in vBulletin.

Shouldn't it show a "Wiki is closed" message instead of the raw code though? Because yes, this is when the wiki is inactive. My members do not understand raw code, they want to see a message displayed. I also would not think that the Wiki link would vanish from the navbar like that either?

It has happened several times..... like when following a link. Come to think of it, I think it happens anytime they try to access the wiki when it is closed.

(in my above message, it should have said "when the wiki is closed" not "when the forum is closed")

Fixed in the next release. The phrase was indeed missing.

Is there a fix that I can apply in the meantime by chance?

You can create a custom phrase vw_wiki_disabled_error in the Error Messages group:
"The wiki is currently closed for maintenance. It will be available again shortly."

This program definitely makes me feel stupid sometimes. Thanks, I did that and finally got it to work. (and I really should have figured that out on my own, but I never would have figured out why it wasn't working when I put it in the wrong spot!)
