IMG vs IMAGE

Changing all image tags from IMG to IMAGE

So, I'm finally working on the wiki content and I realized that since vaultwiki is still using TinyMCE instead of calling for the redactor editor (grrr, arrgg)

Apparently, most of my 3000 wiki entries now have the wrong tag for images.

What is going to be the best way to resolve this? I really, really don't want to have to go thru every single entry.

I don't think it has anything to do with the editor, which when I look at your site is correctly loading Redactor (not TinyMCE).

I think the problem is that the VW4 import source that it used had some errors (the ATTACH tags were not automatically converted due to other bugs in previous versions of the VW3 importer). So when importing to XenForo, it figured that IMAGE was already correctly used when it was not.

There should be a way to resolve this, if the source database still exists. If the source database is already gone, the IDs on the ATTACH tags will have no useful meaning and unfortunately the only repose would be to manually update the affected entries.

Make sure that the forum attachment directory is within the open_basedir restrictions of your new site as well or this will be a shortlived attempt at resolution.

Unfortunately this is not a bug in its own right. The VW4 importer behaved as it was designed to. This is just an unfortunate side effect of an import of an import when we did not confirm that the previous one was okay.

Actually, in this case, this is not for an attached image, this is for a link to an external image.

Links for external images are supposed to still be supported. If they aren't working, please link me to one and I will look into it.

IMG tags not parsing was a XenForo issue. The condition to turn them off if the setting is off was always returning 'off', even when IMG tags were turned on.

Fixed on your site and in the next release. Continue using IMG for external images.
