Mysqli prepare error: Table 'database.vw_log' doesn't exist

When doing an import from VW3 it apparently looks for vw_log instead of vault_log.
Is this the case for all tables? (vw instead of vault)

I have noticed this on another user's install. Some server configurations seem to drop the target DB connection when the source database is connected. When this happens, updates to the target DB are applied instead to the source DB (which fails with a DB error - usually 'vw_log' does not exist). I'm not sure exactly what causes this, but some refactoring of the DB controller seems to be effective. If my user has Admin Panel access on your test site, I will gladly try the changes there as well and perform a test import against the data there in case there are new issues after the change.

Marking this issue as a duplicate of: https://www.vaultwiki.org/issues/3336/

Well that sucks. My live site is down. Vaultwiki seems to have affected the .htaccess. After adding the exact same content to a new .htaccess file the site worked again. I'm not sure what was altered in the database. No database errors occurred.
Do you know what exactly has been changed by vw4? I need to decide whether i need to revert to the latest backup. Please respond quickly.

I don't think you would need to revert a backup on the live site. None of the tables VW4 uses exist in VW3, so it wouldn't be able to successfully modify anything.

It affected the .htaccess in some way that it made the site unavailable. Something to do with rewrite rule flags.

I will not be doing an import of the live database again. At least not until VW4 is Gold. Until then I will use a copy. As I should have.
