Issue: Fatal Blog Error once VaultWiki 4.0.0 Alpha 1 is installed

To put an addendum to this: It's not just blogs; even attempting to access a user profile causes this error, so presumably something went wacky while VaultWiki was editing those permissions.

Can't duplicate this on your site. Blogs tab is working fine for me, as guest and user, also have tried 3 different users' profiles, blogs, and entries without issue. Please provide a link.

Looking in the activity stream, a few others seem to apparently be able to access blogs and member profiles. I logged out and blogs reappeared. Logged back in and got the error again. Several users on an IRC channel that is unofficially part of the site said they had no problems, but one other user is affected just as I am.

So strangely, it seems to be limited to only certain users. Bizarre. It's not userclass-based, either, as that user having problems is just a regular user, and I'm administrator.

I tried running vB's tools to rebuild stuff but it seems to have no effect.

It's likely the permissions for yourself and that one other user are messy. Anything in common about your groups?

I'm a member of the Administrators group and the Wiki Moderators group that VaultWiki installed; he is a simple Registered User and a member of another group that has access to a private forum.

That's about the only link I can think of is that we're part of two groups.

Got a report from another user who's in two groups and he confirmed that he is unaffected. And a report from another user who is only in the Registered Users group, who is affected.

Maybe it is just a few profiles wigging out... how to fix it is the question. :|

Well, I have not been able to duplicate it with HelpingHand. I have modified the error text, please post what you see, and maybe I can work from that.

This occurs for very unique combinations of the vBulletin buddy-list, ignore-list, and only when viewing vbBlog pages. This occurs because of a conditional that matches THIS_SCRIPT against VW_SCRIPT, which incorrectly evaluates to true on all forum pages, and attempts to modify the vw_User_Model before the user's session has been created. This creates an invalid $vbulletin->userinfo array which is able to bypass all sanity checks and get inside is_member_of_blog where the page showstops.

Fixed in the current build.

Well, at least I can feel relieved that all the running around was an actual bug in three of the four cases. Still won't get over me dumbly causing an extra one. Could've swore I only directly edited the line as instructed...

Well, I'll begin "actually" setting it up tomorrow. Hopefully that goes a lot smoother! I'd feel bad if I murdered your Saturday, too.
