Section editing not working

Nothing happens on section editing button clicks

When we edit a section, the editor opens fine.

However, none of the buttons do anything: Save, Cancel, Advanced, all ignore all clicking.

Tested in Chrome and FF. Perhaps related to another forum addon we have?

Check your browser's Javascript console for any errors after trying the buttons.

Also, if you have Firebug installed, check the Net panel for any changes/errors when opening or using the buttons.

Which version of vBulletin do you have installed?

No errors show up.

Firebug Net panel does nothing at all when pressing the button.

vBulletin 4.1.0 Patch Level 2

Do you have the following mod installed:

MARCO1 Advanced Quick Reply - Advanced Quick Edit - With Smiles!!

VaultWiki is not currently compatible with this mod.

Disabling "MARCO1 Advanced Quick Reply - Advanced Quick Edit - With Smiles!!" did not solve the issue (cleared cache).

You could register on our forum if you want to experience it yourself.

This occurs since 3.0.10 when comments are set to display on a separate tab. In template vault_article_main, find:

Code:

!$show['edit_tab'] AND ($show['quickedit'] OR $show['quickreply'])

Replace with:

Code:

!$show['quickreply'] AND ($show['edit_tab'] OR $show['quickedit'])

That also did not fix it...tried again in Chrome as well as FF

Okay, to make it more like the fix we are using in the next release it's:

Code:

$show['quickreply'] OR $show['edit_tab'] OR $show['quickedit']

We have added are other measures in the code to prevent the file from being loaded multiple times, but this will have to do to get you back up and running.
