[h=2]Reasons to Install a Wiki[/h]
Many sites have a niche community, a group of users who share a common specific interest. However, not all of your users will be as knowledgeable as others about your site's topic of focus.
You have several options. You can rebuke these newbies and cast them aside. You can direct them away from your site to read up on the topic at Wikipedia. You can use stickies and have them try to make sense of random threads and posts throughout your forum.
Or, you can have a central location on your site where newbies can learn and veterans can brush up. A place that's easy to find, holds on to your site's traffic, and allows all of your users to contribute.
A wiki, simply put, is an article system. Unlike other wiki products that can look out of place and be very difficult to give the "feel" of the rest of the site, VaultWiki integrates with your existing forum and styles. You and your users will still feel at home reading and editing its pages. -
