German Language Pack for VaultWiki 2.3.1

Yeah, that is the plan. I've got to spend some time getting vB4 working fine for my site, then the guys who've created the German pack should be able to get something together for it...

I've got some files that are an update to the older version VaultWiki2 pack, just need to check them over, but version 3 is under way. I'll check with the lead translator to see how his translation is coming.

Curious if you're using a special vBulletin mod to make translating a little smoother. If you can link me to the mod, or create a Tutorial about translating VaultWiki, it would probably help a number of people.

Not at the moment, been copying and pasting sections to the two translators working on translation (one doing German, the other Italian), cos they're not admins, and so not got access to translation direct. (It's a long job... even trying to get Excel to do work in any sort of help.)

I've looked over a couple of those mods, but I've come across issues with a translation I got for vB4 on my board, where the mod seems to have pushed some of the phrases into the wrong sections... which has been a pain to fix.

The status atm is a third done with the Italian, and German the translator was merging all the changes from this version of VW (2.3.1) and checking to see if there have been any mistakes or changes, and has been doing some of the newer phrases. Having said that, I may end up looking into using one of the mods...

I'll see what I can put together that I've learned from this, but if the translator is an admin use the phrase manager, or the owner of VW then use the master language file. Anyone else it'll end up being copy and paste.
